Pancakeswap is a decentralized exchange built on the Binance Smart Chain that offers fast transaction processing and low transaction fees. Pancakeswap uses smart contracts to let users trade crypto without a middleman. It’s a simple and user-friendly platform for trading and bridging Aptos from one wallet to another.
Pancakeswap also lets Aptos holders earn passive income by either staking their tokens to earn rewards or contributing to a liquidity pool to receive a share of the trading fees.
Open pancakeswap.finance and select “Trade.”
Select Aptos from the list of available networks.
Connect your crypto wallet.
Pick a compatible crypto wallet from the list.
For this example, we will be using Petra wallet.
Download the wallet’s browser extension.
Create a new wallet or import an existing wallet.
Approve the connection request.
Select the tokens you will swap. Input the exact amount you want to trade.
Adjust the slippage tolerance to a level you’re comfortable with. If you allow high slippage tolerance, be prepared to receive a slightly different amount of crypto from what you expected from the trade.
Confirm the swap.
Approve the transaction.
Wait for the transaction to finish processing.
Once your transaction is complete, you can view the updated balance on your wallet.
Select “Bridge” to access the Stargate bridge.
Select the token and network you want to bridge from and tap "Connect."
Connect the wallet you want to send funds from.
For this example, we will use Metamask.
Approve the connection request.
Select the token, network, and wallet you want to bridge to and tap "Connect."
For this example, we will use Petra wallet.
Approve the connection request.
Transfer the funds.
Approve the transaction.
Wait for the confirmation message.
