The Satori Testnet lets you explore the features of Vana Network before the mainnet launch.
While Vana prepares for its mainnet launch, you can get involved early by joining the Satori Testnet. The Satori Testnet is the testing ground for everything Vana aims to deliver with its mainnet. This means you can be one of the first to explore Vana’s decentralized ecosystem for user-owned data. You get to explore Vana’s features and functionalities ahead of the launch and gain early experience with data liquidity pools and validators. You can also participate in activities to earn testnet rewards. Your feedback during the testnet phase helps improve the platform, ensuring it works smoothly for everyone when the Vana mainnet goes live.
Getting started on the Satori Testnet is simple. Here’s a quick guide on how to add the testnet to your MetaMask or any other EVM-compatible wallet.
Open Your Wallet. Head to MetaMask or your preferred wallet and click on the network selector at the top of the screen.
Select “Add Network.” In MetaMask, you’ll find the option to add a new network. Click on “Add Network” or “Custom RPC.”
Fill in the Network Details:
Save the Network: After entering the details, click Save to add the network to your wallet. Then switch to the Satori Testnet.
Alternatively, you can visit the Satori Block Explorer and connect it to your wallet.
Once your wallet is set up on the Satori Testnet, you’re ready to start uploading data and earning rewards. You can use the Vana Token Faucet to get free test tokens to be able to participate in data transactions and try out the features of the Satori Testnet.
Note: The tokens obtained via Satori Testnet have no monetary value and are strictly used for testnet purposes only.
Before participating in any activities on the Satori Testnet, make sure you read the Terms of Service to ensure that you’re fully aware of the rules and expectations while testing and providing feedback on the network.
