In Wild Forest, every Unit in your collection is a real NFT that can be minted and sold on the Mavis Market for real-world profit. The types of units you collect can be Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, or Legendary. So far, over 390,000 Units have been minted and are held by 26,000+ unique owners. 

As you progress in the game, you can upgrade your Units to increase their value. Higher-ranked and rarer Units yield greater rewards, both in-game and on the marketplace.

Upgrading Your Units

There are two primary ways to upgrade your Units in Wild Forest:

1. Level Up: Use Shards and Gold to improve your Unit's stats. This not only boosts their strength in battle but also increases their market value.
2. Rank Up: Merge duplicate Units to rank them up, enhancing their rarity and unlocking additional perks. Higher-ranked Units are more valuable and come with better benefits. Ranking up requires more Units and $WF (the in-game currency), which can be earned through seasonal progression or climbing the Leaderboard.

Rarity-Based Perk System

High-rarity Units, such as Epic and Legendary, come with unique perks that further increase their value and power. You get 1 perk per Epic Unit and 2 perks per Legendary Unit. Perks include Dodge, which gives your Unit a 20% chance to dodge enemy attacks avoiding 100% damage, DualStrike, which lets your Unit attack 2 targets at once, and many more. These perks are randomly assigned, and the better the perk, the higher the potential sale price. For example, the highest price paid for a Legendary Unit so far was 700 $RON (approximately $1,029 USD).

Based on Wild Forest’s new rarity-based perk system, the effectiveness of a perk is determined by its rarity. The rarer the perk, the more powerful it is in gameplay, and the higher its market value.

Here are the drop chances for perks with different rarities on Epic or Legendary Units:

• ⚫ Grey (Common) – 60%
• 🟢 Green (Uncommon) – 30%
• 🔵 Blue (Rare) – 10%

When ranking up a Legendary Unit, the first perk is randomly selected from the four Epic Unit Perks used in the rank-up process. If all four Epic Units have different perks, each perk has a 25% chance to drop. If all four Units have the same perk, the chance becomes 100%. You can influence this by selectively merging cards with the perks you desire. However, the second perk for a Legendary Unit is always chosen randomly.
