Trustless

The state of not requiring trust to function.

In cryptocurrency terms, trustless means that we don't have to rely on one person or group to make sure everything is fair. Instead, everyone can check that everything is okay.

In cryptocurrency terms, trustless refers to not having to trust any sole third party to assure that transactions will go through properly. Most blockchain networks are built to be trustless through code, cryptography and protocols.
